Commuting
The biggest problem I have with college is commuting. During my senior year of high school, I would wake up at 8:30 to get ready for school. I didn’t have a first period. Now, during college I have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning. Ever since I was younger I would always be grumpy if I didn't get a good amount of sleep. Also, another problem that I have with commuting is not knowing whether or not there’s gonna be traffic. On tuesday, I have a 6pm class. That means traffic everywhere. I have to leave over an hour early when it usually only takes me 15 minutes to get into town. Most of the traffic is because people slow down for no reason. There's no accident. Another thing is I don’t like driving back and forth between my breaks so I chose to stay on campus all day so I don't waste gas. That means on mondays and wednesdays i'm on campus for about 12 hours. Although being on campus for so many hours a day get tiring it also has its advantages. The last problem I have with commuting is having to find a parking space. The fact that this such a big school is that sometimes if you don't come early, then you're stuck in more traffic in the parking lots because other students who are trying to find a parking spot last minute. One time it took me and my friend almost 20 minutes to find a parking spot in front of the science building.
I hate those people in front of me that slow down for no reason I almost hit a guy today going 65 on the fast lane pushing the break for no reason. For parking just park in the back there's always parking lot 6 if your going to bill and bizzini and lot 8 if you go to science building no struggling to find parking just a little more of a walk
ReplyDeleteI agree, college is great and all but man the commute is no joke, i've always been an early riser so waking up early is not the issue its the fact that I drive 1 hour to turlock and 1 hour back by myself and it gets boring just looking a trailers on the freeway, not to mention how much gas I waste.
