Last blog

WOW. Where did the time go?? This is my last blog, to be honest its probably gonna be the last blog im  ever going to do. Starting a new chapter in my life was kind of scary to me. I was afraid that college would wear me down but it did the opposite. College showed me how school should be. Not gonna lie there were classes that I took these first 2 semesters that I thought I was gonna fail but to my surprise I passed. I like how theres so much freedom in college. You could pick your own classes, leave campus whenever you want and in some classes you can even ditch. Not saying that its a good thing but for some classes you could leave and if you're smart enough you could still pass the class. College allows you to grow up and become more mature (hopefully ) by letting you finally decide what you want to do. In the beginning I didn't really know what to really expect since im the first in my family to go to a four year. I met some cool people this year, I learned a lot of new things. Some of the new things are educational and some are survival (in a way). There was a time where I asked myself why am I even at school and why did I chose to come to this school. But that was just for a moment. Im happy with my choice of college and im excited to see what my second year has to offer me,

    I was also afraid of failing some of my classes, but I passes it and I was happy about it. I learned so much about myself this year which brings me to think about how the next few years will change me.

    Big Facts!, Yes honestly time flew by, next thing we know we already finishing our first year of college which is insane. Honestly all what you just said basically summarizes college, the freedom it gives us, us being able to mature on our own, make our own paths and decide to follow them or not. It was an interesting new step into life, but we aren't quite finished yet, heres to these next few years of college, good luck.

Studying

In this blog, I will be writing about studying. Throughout high school, I would hardly ever study. If i studied for tests, I would notice that my grades would be worse than the times that i didn’t study. So that’s why I would hardly every study. Now, in college it's so much different. I study so much but somehow it seems to not work. I’m a morning person so I tend to study in the morning. I'm more productive in the morning and as the day goes on get lazier and lazier. 1st semester.....

As the semester is coming closer to an end, I have sort of been getting the hang of school now. Recently I've been trying to focus more on school so I can have a distraction because if I don't have a distraction I start feeling sad. These mood swings have been causing me to want to get my act straight and focus more on my education and less about relationship and other things that are unnecessary at the moment. I feel like my happiness and education should come first. Today I have finished four assignments including this one. I like being kept busy. Unfortunately if I work on too much I start getting anxiety because my brain cannot process so much information from so many subjects at the same time anymore. To kill more time and to keep me even more busy I am planning to start going to the gym again and keep it up. Struggles of being in groups

In one of my classes my professor put us into groups with other students that they think we will work good with. We've had the same group since the beginning of the semester. The first project went well. I wasn't worried about whether or not we would finish it on time. We communicated very well and aced the project and presentation. Unfortunately I feel like our communication has gone down the drain for this new project. Our project is due Friday and we still have to finish our ten page research essay, powerpoint, printing out all the pages and putting it into our book and preparing for our presentation thats on Monday. Im nervous because theres so much to do and I don't know if we'll be able to finish it on time. I try to be the one to remind them without being THAT person who bothers everyone but its a group grade so if they fail then I fail. I can't let that happen.
